Alan Leckner is an art director and heads his own graphics design firm. He is also a lifelong photo enthusiast, and began photographing wildlife in 1986.

Alan started attracting birds with a simple home-made feeder and quickly realized the challenges that go into making quality photo images.

He offers workshops, has been published in NY Alive Magazine and the Detroit Sunday Press and exhibits at the Guild of Creative Art, Monmouth Festival of the Arts and Township Libraries. Alan enjoys judging, sharing his methods, experiences and knowledge at photo clubs. He also has created a series of slide presentations and lectures.

While his home base is New Jersey and all of its wildlife sanctuaries, he travels throughout the U.S. and abroad to create thoughtful and artistic photographs of nature.

News:
Alan recently exhibited his one man show: Eastern Europe-Historic and New, at two galleries in Monmouth County New Jersey. Sixty-eight prints representing a photo essay of his trip to Warsaw, Krakow, Budapest and Prague.

He is past-President and President Emeritus of the Monmouth Camera Club in Colts Neck NJ
